WILL MY PHONE
WORK WITH SPORTSRUSH ?

This is one of the questions that comes up all the time.  And the answer is almost always, YES!

We have a list of over 900 phones, released worldwide, that we know are compatible with SportsRush. If your phone is less than about two years old, and isn't a "bargain basement" model, the chances are good that it will work just fine.

So here's the gotcha.  Most phones are shipped with all the correct settings and they work right from the start. But a small number need some configuration, and a couple are just plain buggy and don't work they way they're supposed to. Finally, some carriers just don't allow applications of any type to work on their network (don't ask us why!).

The Basic Requirements

Here's the basic requirements.  There's only two.  Your phone must have:

• GPRS Internet connectivity (2.5G or 3G); and
• The ability to run Java applications.

Phone Companies

As far as Australian phone companies go, they're all good with the single exception of Vodafone Prepaid.  If you are on Vodafone Prepaid you'll need to upgrade to a higher plan, or to one of the other phone companies.

If you're outside Australia, just check with your phone company. They'll soon tell you if they support applications like SportsRush.

Compatible Phones

Like we said above, we know of over 900 phones that work with SportsRush.  And soon after launch, we'll offer the capability to automatically configure every one of them with the correct settings for your phone and carrier.  Here's the list of phones we will automatically configure at launch:
